Together with Hebei Province, they form the Jing Jin Ji City Cluster concentrating in culture, innovation, and high-tech. Beijing is also the political and cultural center of China. The Northeast Region consists of the three provinces in the northeast. It is a region with Winter sports and festivals, heavy industries, and film production. The Northwest Region consists of the provinces in the northwest corner of the country. It is a region with plenty of resources, cultures, and histories. The powerhouse is Xian City. It was also the capital cities of many Chinese dynasties in history. The Southwest Region consists of the provinces in the southwest corner of the country.
