Fujian province in China is located at on the west side of Taiwan Strait neighbouring Zhejiang province on the north, Guangdong on the south, and Jiangxi on the west. The province is located between the East and South China Sea. It has a long history of seafaring and trading in Southeast Area and around the world. Quanzhou was the world renowned Sea Port in the Song Dynasty (南宋1127AD). It was also the mooring and starting port for Zheng He’s armada in the Ming Dynasty (明朝1368AD) for the voyage to the world. Nowaday, it is a modern and prosperous province. The province has a population around 41.8 millions and yearly GDP abount $761.60 billions USD. It’s capital city is Fuzhou (福州). The major industries in the province are: agriculture, fishing, manufacturing, tourism industry, and information and technology industry. The major cities in the province are: Fuzhou (福州), Quanzhou (泉州), Xiamen(厦门), Zhangzhou (漳州), and Putian (莆田). The province also has many attractive sightseeing places like Xiamen Gulangyu Island (厦门鼓浪屿), (武夷山), Taining Dajin Lake (泰宁大金湖), Quanzhou Kaiyuan Temple (泉州开元寺), Fuzhou West Lake Park (福州西湖公园), Taimu Mountain (福鼎太姥山), Nanping Jiuqu River (南平九曲溪), Meizhou Island (莆田湄洲岛), Longyan Yongding Tulou (龙岩永定土楼), and Ningde Xiapu (宁德霞浦).
