Jiangsu province in China is located at on the north side of Yangtze Delta next to the coast of East China Sea It is neighbouring Zhejiang province on the south, Anhui on the west, and Shandong on the north. Jiangsu has a long history and splendid culture. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it belonged to Wu, Yue, Chu and Qi. From the Qin and Han Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was an important economic and cultural center. Nowaday, it is a modern and prosperous province. The province has a population around 85.3 millions and yearly GDP abount $1.79 trillions USD. It’s capital city is 南京(Nanjing). The major industries in the province are: Electronic information, equipment manufacturing, chemical industry, finance, tourism, education, agriculture, marine fishery, marine transportation, marine shipbuilding industry. The major cities in the province are: Nanjing(南京), Wuxi(无锡), Xuzhou(徐州), Changzhou(常州), Suzhou(苏州), Nantong(南通). The province also has many attractive sightseeing places like Suzhou Gardens(苏州园林), Qinhuai Scenic Belt(秦淮风光带), Yangzhou Slender West Lake(扬州瘦西湖), Wuxi Taihu Yuantouzhu(无锡太湖鼋头渚), Lianyungang Huaguoshan(连云港花果山), Changzhou China Dinosaur Park(常州中华恐龙园), Zhouzhuang Ancient Town(周庄古镇), Tongli Ancient Town(同里古镇), Xuzhou Yunlong Lake(徐州云龙湖), Liyang Tianmu Lake(溧阳天目湖).
