Taipei city in China is located at the northern tip of Taiwan Island about 150 miles northwest to Fuzhou in Fujian. In the eighteenth century, migrants from Fujian and Guangdong came and settled in the Taipei area. They formed joint-stock group engaging in land development and reclamation. Nowaday, it is a modern and prosperous provincial capital. The city has a population around 2.5 millions and yearly GDP about $80.78 billions USD. The famous traditional products produced by the city are: Wenshan Tieguanyin Tea (文山区铁观音茶), Gaoshan Citrus (草山柑橘), Papaya milk (木瓜牛奶), Red Meat Soup (赤肉羹), and Beef Meatballs (牛肉丸). The city also has many attractive sightseeing places like Yangmingshan (阳明山), Jiufen Old Street (九份老街), Shifen Old Street (十分老街), Songshan Cultural and Creative Park (松山文化创意园区), Taipei 101 Building (台北101), Xiangshan (象山), Taipei National Palace Museum (台北故宫博物院), Shilin Night Market (士林夜市), Ximending (西门町), Yehliu Geological Scenic Area (野柳地质风景区).
