Zhengzhou city in China is located on the south shore of Yellow River about 220 miles west to the city of Xian. The city is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. It has been inhabited since the Xia and Shang dynasties. It was called Guan and Zhengyi in ancient times. It has a long history and is an important transportation hub.
