Macao city in China is located on the southern tip of the west shore of the Pearl River Estuary It is about 70 miles north to the city of Guangzhou. The city, formerly known as Haojingao, originally belonged to Guangdong Province. It was occupied by Portugal in the 16th century and returned to China in 1999. It is famous for its tourism and gaming industries. Nowaday, it is a modern and prosperous one country two system city. The city has a population around 700 thousands and yearly GDP about $47.04 billions USD.
