Zhejiang province in China is located at on the south side of Yangtze Delta and along the coast of East China Sea It is neighbouring Fujian province on the south, Jiangxi on the west, and Jiangsu on the north. Zhejiang has a long history and splendid culture. It belonged to the Yue Kingdom in ancient times and later to Wuyue. Its economy prospered during the Tang and Song dynasties. Since modern times, it has been at the forefront of China’s reform and opening up. Nowaday, it is a modern and prosperous province. The province has a population around 66.3 millions and yearly GDP abount $1.16 trillions USD. It’s capital city is 杭州(Hangzhou). The major industries in the province are: Automobile, computer communication electronics, textile, equipment manufacturing, high-tech, emerging industries, agriculture, leasing, business services, information transmission, software, information technology services, transportation, warehousing, postal services. The major cities in the province are: Hangzhou(杭州), Ningbo(宁波), Wenzhou(温州), Shaoxing(绍兴), and Jiaxing(嘉兴). The province also has many attractive sightseeing places like Hangzhou West Lake(杭州西湖), Yandang Mountain(雁荡山), Lingyin Temple(灵隐寺), Qiandao Lake(千岛湖), Tianyi Pavilion Museum(天一阁博物院), Lu Xun’s Hometown Scenic Area(鲁迅故里景区), Shaoxing Ancient City(绍兴古城), Putuo Mountain Scenic Area(普陀山风景区), Wuzhen(乌镇), and Jinhua Shuanglong Scenic Tourist Area(金华双龙风景旅游区).
