Exhibition City-Xian

Xi’an, located in the heart of inland China, about 680 miles from Beijing, is the capital of Shaanxi Province. The city has a long and glorious history. It was the capital of the Western Zhou Dynasty, Qin Dynasty, Han Dynasty, Tang Dynasty and other dynasties. It is one of the four ancient capitals of China. The history of Xi’an can be traced back to the 11th century BC. It is best known for the Terracotta Warriors of Qin Shihuang and the Daming Palace of the Tang Dynasty. Currently, Xi’an has a population of about 13 million and is a vibrant modern metropolis. In terms of economy, Xi’an has an annual GDP of more than 80 billion US dollars and is an important economic center in western China. The five major traditional consumer products in the city include: Qin Town Rice Noodles秦镇米皮, Xi’an Cold Noodles西安凉皮, Chinese Hamburger with Pork腊汁肉夹馍, Bubble Mo牛羊肉泡馍 and Bingfeng Soda冰峰汽水. Xi’an is also a famous tourist city.
