The cultures of China’s ethnic minorities are rich and varied. They have unique languages, writing systems, music, dances, festivals and handicrafts. For example, the silver jewelry of the Miao people, the xiao songs of the Zhuang people, the thangka paintings of the Tibetan people, the embroidery of the Yi people, and the loyalty of the Hui people to Islam. The cultures of different ethnic groups have merged together, and become the cultural treasury of the country.
